4) Integrity Blades
Flexible mission-critical server blades are now combined with the efficiency of HP BladeSystem to accelerate IT effectiveness. The ability to mix and match HP Integrity, HP ProLiant, and HP StorageWorks blades within the same BladeSystem c-Class enclosure provides flexibility to grow as your business demands change.
These new Integrity blades—the BL860c i2, BL870c i2, and BL890c i2—offer 2.5x the compute density compared to traditional rackmount servers. All feature HP’s unique Blade Link technology, which combines multiple blades to create 2-, 4-, and 8-socket systems. Plus, HP Virtual Connect Flex-10 offers increased network scalability and configuration flexibility with up to 20 times more networking bandwidth.
5) Storage Blades
HP Storage offers storage solutions designed to fit inside the BladeSystem enclosure, as well as external expansion to virtually unlimited storage capacity.

6) Expansion
The HP BladeSystem PCI Expansion Blade provides PCI card expansion slots to an adjacent c-Class blade server. This blade expansion unit uses the c-Class midplane to pass standard PCI signals between adjacent enclosure bays, to allow a c-Class blade server to add off-the-shelf PCI-X or PCI-e cards. Customers would need one PCI Expansion Blade for each c-Class server blade needing PCI card expansion. Any PCI card from third-party manufacturers that works in HP ProLiant ML and HP ProLiant DL servers should work in this PCI Expansion Blade. HP does not offer any warranty or support for third-party PCI manufactured products. HP does joint market with selected PCI manufactures via the HP BladeSystem Solutions Builder Program.
